From a photography standpoint, I love the Old Strathcona bones: tall windows, brick, and Whyte Ave’s murals and patios right outside the door for portraits with real personality. The on-site restaurant, Ampersand 27, also makes an easy rehearsal-dinner or welcome-reception spot the night before. It’s an especially comfortable fit for smaller weddings and elopements.
