It has a capacity of 300 guests. The mansion was built in 1909. There are five guest rooms, which makes it a convenient venue to have getting ready photographs done in the same location. The Norland Historic Estate Venue is a unique landmark in Lethbridge, Alberta. Its history began as a Southern Colonial House with Charles Roland Daniel and his wife Maurine who named his farm Norland.
There is ample place to park at the Norland Historic Estate Venue. The Norland Historic Estate Venue can sleep 10 guests on the upper level. There are nearby hotels for other wedding guests in Lethbridge, Alberta. Wedding rehearsal dinners are to be hosted at least a month in advance of the wedding day.
The Norland Historic Estate has an on-site caterer that is exclusive to this venue. The menu is designed based on the wedding couple’s taste, vision and style. Their catering includes full-service catering staff for setup, during food service, and for take-down following your meals. Plateware, water, wine glassware, silverware, and coffee cups are included with the catering packages. There is a choice of plated dinners or a buffet.
Wedding ceremonies can be held on the lawn and gazebo or in the ballroom, depending on the weather. The ballroom is 4,500 square foot. There are large mirrors on one side, making it excellent for fun reflection portraits. When the Drawing room is included, the total square foot of event space is 6,300.
According to Norland’s package information, no pets are allowed on the property, with the exception of during the wedding ceremony if requested.
