Are you wanting an elopement in the city? It is very possible for everything to be taken care of and still have the 2 hours dedicated to just you, your future spouse and your wedding guests. Pop-up weddings are intimate and personalized — it is perfect for couples who want a more intimate and personalized memorable experience rather than a large traditional wedding. Venues are also often unique! Everything is prepackaged and I am delighted that I have a few couples in 2023 that I am working as their wedding photographer as part of The Pop Up Weddings YEG’s packages.
When I photograph Pop Up Wedding YEG weddings, I get to know the wedding couple and understand what your love story is. This helps me plan and customize prompts that are unique to you!! To book me as your Alberta wedding photographer for a pop up wedding, you can connect with Sevy directly. Any additional hours or artwork can be added a la carte by communicating with me. You can find more of my wedding photography portfolio here.

My advice to couples who are just starting the wedding planning process is to take it step by step and to prioritize what is most important to them. Here are a few tips:
Establish a budget: Determine how much you can realistically afford to spend and allocate funds accordingly. This will help guide your decision-making process and ensure that you stay on track financially.
Determine your priorities: Sit down with your partner and determine what is most important to you both. This could be the venue, the food, the music, or any other element of the wedding. Prioritizing what matters most to you will help you make informed decisions as you move forward.
Start early: The earlier you begin planning, the more time you will have to explore options, make decisions, and secure vendors. This will also give you more flexibility and options to choose from.
Research vendors: Take the time to research potential vendors and read reviews from other couples. This will help you find reputable vendors who align with your vision and budget.
Consider hiring a wedding planner: A wedding planner can help you navigate the planning process, provide advice and expertise, and take care of all the details, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
Overall, planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but by breaking it down into manageable steps, prioritizing what is most important, and seeking the advice of professionals, you can create a memorable and stress-free wedding day.
Managing timelines and budgets for my clients is a crucial aspect of my role as a wedding planner. Here are some of the ways I manage timelines and budgets for my clients.
I have developed a comprehensive excel spreadsheet that encompasses various tabs catering to different aspects of the wedding planning process. The tabs include a complete checklist spanning a year, personal information, contact details of vendors along with their discussed details, seating chart and RSVP features, and table setting tools. This approach allows me to stay organized and ensures that I do not miss any important details while planning the wedding.
