Pedalheads have half-day options as well as full-day summer camp options. Their most popular summer camp is the bike camp, where they teach kids how to ride a bicycle. For kids who already know how to ride a bicycle, they also offer trail riding camps as well as riding safety in a neighbourhood.

Fitset Ninja

Watch your kids’ confidence soar when you send them to FitSet Ninja summer camp. They learn how to navigate various obstacle courses.

FitSet Ninja has summer camps for kids age 5 and up. There are two locations in Edmonton, Alberta — the north location (11511 120 Street NW) and the south location (530 71 Street SW).

Camp Amicus

Camp Amicus is a neuro-divergent-friendly program for kids in Alberta, offered by Foothills Academy. Kids would have to have a formal diagnosis of ADHD or a learning disability (with no significant emotional or behavioural regulation challenges) to apply. Some of the activities include: 3D printing, science & engineering, to sports, archery, and rock climbing and, art, music, and cooking

Artstrek

Red Deer Polytechnic, Alberta

Artstrek is a provincial summer theatre school for kids who are in Grade 7 and up. It is not an audition-based program.

Daily classes include: Acting, Devising, Design, Voice & Singing, and Movement & Dance

Camp Nakamun

Camp Nakamun has been around for over 75 years and is renowned for their Christian faith-based Alberta summer camps. Campers are divided into groups of 8 kids and 2 staff members. Lots of fun activities are planned and kids are surrounded by nature: trails and lake.

Birch Bay Ranch

Birch Bay Ranch is a Christian faith-based Alberta summer camp for kids. Birch Bay Ranch offers rock climbing, ziplines, horseback riding, field and gym sports, archery and other target-shooting activities. They run overnight camps that start Sunday afternoon and end Friday evening.

Camp Silversides is another great bible-based Alberta summer camp for kids. There is a wide range of activities for kids from Grade 1 to Grade 10. Campers can choose activities during their skills time such as survival, crafts, beachfront, canoeing, kayaking, archery, pelletry, sports, and bazooka ball. Campers attend chapel, wide games, play at the beach, take a ride on the pontoon boat and do activities as a cabin.

Sunnyside Camp

Sunnyside Camp is a week-long experience for kids in Alberta, focusing on building friendships, worship experience, fun & games and cabin time.

Camp Caroline

Camp Caroline is one of the oldest Alberta Summer Camps for kids. It has been around since 1973. Kids from Grade 2 to Grade 12 are welcome at Camp Caroline. The younger kids get to do crafts, swimming, singing, and games. There is an option to add horsemanship. Kids who go to Camp Caroline will be immersed in nature.
